Now for the fun stuff 💃
1. Favorite Hebrew word?
Milchemet Cariot (Pillow fight)! I went to Shabbat dinner with a bunch of little kids, and it was one of my better memories in Hebrew –the little kids and I got to a pillow fight, and one of the little kids said “Milchemet Cariot!” and I was like “what is that?!?😍” So that’s my favorite little phrase.
2. Why Israel?
This is my first time in Israel, I’ve always wanted to come and I knew that when I’ll have the chance to study abroad one of the places I really want to come to is Israel. I thought that the best time to come is to be able to study here, and really be involved in the Israeli culture of other Israeli students, and really live here and see what it’s like. I can say that I love it, I’m having a great time. I travel a lot more than I thought I would and seeing a lot more of Israel. I feel like all the connections that I’ve made here, with Israelis, with the staff, and with the international students, are real friendships that I’ll stay in contact with ✨
3. Favorite Be’er Sheva activity?
I like the weekends and how calm they are, the fact that a lot of things aren’t open really gives you the opportunity to connect with other people and the other international students that are here. We’ve been doing lunches or dinners, walking a lot, visiting nice parks, nice viewpoints to see the sunset 🌅
4. if you could instantly become an expert in something – what would it be?
It’s hard for me to say I’d like to become an expert in something immediately, especially the type of person I am – I like to be educated in multiple things, for example, when I choose classes I don’t try to stay in my comfort zone of choosing something I know and want to be even more knowledged about, I usually try to choose things that I feel I’m not aware of or not knowledged enough and learn about it 🔎

5. If you could have one superpower, what would you choose?
I’d like to be able to transport myself to places. One – I’m not a morning person so when I have to do things in the morning it’s just the worst, I wait to the last minute to be ready and go. Also – I really enjoy traveling so it will be cool to just like – “oh I’m just gonna be in France now, oh I’m gonna be back in the states!” 💫
6. What’s your dream job?
I want to be involved with different Jewish organizations that are doing good in the world, just helping people that really need support. I’ve actually been doing a lot of stuff like that while I’ve been here. As a side thing I want to do a little bit of modeling and acting 🎬
7. A bird whispered to me that you’re a part of a softball team in Israel! Can you tell me about that?

I play sports and I really enjoy that. At my home university, I play basketball and softball, but while I’m here it is more like a hobby. I go to the gym, and I found a softball team to play on – I massaged the Israeli Softball association and now I play on a team 🥎 we are just finishing our season, the field is in Gezer, next to the city Modi’in. I’ve met some really cool people through that and I’m having fun..
