#Off_the_reord with with Isola Lekanfrom, Nigeria!

This time, we are getting into Nigerian vibes with Isola Lekanfrom Nigeria!

🇳🇬 Isola is pursuing his master’s in Intelligence Systems at BGU, and when you meet him around campus – you can call him by his nickname Ola!

Now for the fun stuff 💃
1. Favorite Hebrew word:
Toda Raba! (Thank you). Africans are very polite and always say thank you, so I’m used to saying it a lot 🙏
2. Why Israel?
I came here to support my wife 👰🤵, she has been admitted to Weitzman Institute. Now I thank god I came here because I got the opportunity to study at BGU. People here are so nice and always want to help, and I’m really excited about my Master’s. My supervisor told me “I know you like to give me results every time (!) we meet, but you don’t have to!”
3. If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
To prevent people from crying! When someone will start to cry – I’ll just send an arrow to make him laugh and share laughter around the world, no tears anymore! 🦸‍♂😂
4. Hummus or Falafel?
Falafel 🥙 I like the crunchy ball. We have something similar in Nigeria that is called Akara, it’s a ball blended with beans.

5. What’s your hidden talent?
I like to motivate people around me, create a good atmosphere, make people feel very comfortable to share with me their thoughts.
6. What’s one thing about you that surprises people?
That I don’t give up easily. I do get disappointed when things aren’t working, but then I say that there must be a key somewhere. Life is too short to walk away from everything. When you’re making efforts, you get meaningful things ✨
7. What did you want to do when you were little?
To be a pilot. Now I’m studying robotics and sooner or later robots will also fly plains, so maybe I’ll get there that way!
